Important Information

Regulatory & Testing Transparency

At Green Edge 360, we believe sustainability and safety claims should be backed by evidence. This page outlines the regulatory standards, laboratory testing, and compliance framework behind our laundry detergent sheets.

Independent Skin Irritation Testing (OECD TG 439)

Our finished formula has been tested using the OECD Test Guideline 439 (Reconstructed Human Epidermis Model), an internationally recognised alternative to animal testing.

  • Test Method: OECD TG 439 – Human Skin Model
  • Laboratory: TÜV Thuringen (Shanghai)
  • Result: Classified as non-irritant under UN GHS / EU CLP test conditions

This in vitro test evaluates the irritation potential of the finished product using reconstructed human epidermis tissue, providing modern, non-animal safety assessment.

Ingredient Safety & CLP Compliance

Our product is classified and labelled in accordance with:

  • Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP – Classification, Labelling and Packaging)
  • REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006
  • UN Globally Harmonised System (GHS)

Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are available and prepared according to EU regulatory standards. Hazard classification is determined using recognised calculation methods and laboratory data.

Biodegradability & Environmental Data

Our surfactant system has been assessed for biodegradability under standard test conditions.

  • Primary surfactants: >90% biodegradation within 28 days (standard testing conditions)
  • Glycerin: Readily biodegradable

Our formula is designed to reduce long-term environmental impact compared to traditional liquid detergent packaging systems.

Plastic Reduction & Packaging

Our outer packaging is plastic-free and designed to reduce single-use plastic waste typically associated with traditional detergent bottles.

We continue to review packaging materials and supply chain processes to improve sustainability performance over time.

Transparency Commitment

We do not rely on vague marketing language. Where claims are made, they are supported by laboratory data, regulatory documentation, or recognised industry standards.

For full documentation requests (SDS, test reports, compliance details), please contact our support team.

Important: Testing results refer to specific laboratory conditions under recognised OECD guidelines. Always follow product usage instructions. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid direct contact with eyes.

Ingredients & Transparency

We believe in clear, simple ingredient communication. Below you’ll find what’s inside our laundry detergent sheets and what each ingredient does.

Surfactants (Plant-Based Cleaning Agents)

Our primary surfactants help lift and remove dirt from fabrics. These are designed to be readily biodegradable under standard test conditions.

Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA)

A water-soluble film that holds the sheet together and dissolves during the wash cycle. It breaks down in wastewater treatment systems under appropriate conditions.

Protease (Enzyme)

An enzyme that helps break down protein-based stains such as food or sweat, improving wash performance even in lower temperatures.

Glycerin

A plant-derived humectant used to stabilise the sheet structure.

Fragrance (if applicable)

Provides a light, fresh scent. Fragrance components comply with relevant safety standards and usage limits.
