RECOGNISED BY THE GROCER

Two Green Edge 360 Products Named Finalists in The Grocer New Product Awards 2026

For Green Edge 360, independent recognition matters most when customers can understand what sits behind it.

We are proud to share that two Green Edge 360 products have been named finalists in The Grocer New Product Awards 2026, both shortlisted in the Home Care category:

  • Green Edge 360 Forest Fresh Laundry Detergent Sheets
  • Green Edge 360 Forest Fresh Laundry Scent Booster

The official 2026 Home Care shortlist contains just seven products, meaning two of this year's finalists come from the Green Edge 360 laundry range.

Why Recognition From The Grocer Matters

The Grocer has been reporting on Britain's grocery and FMCG industry since 1862.

Today, its audience spans major retailers, independent businesses, manufacturers, suppliers, entrepreneurs, challenger brands and senior decision-makers throughout the UK grocery and consumer-goods sector.

Its New Product Awards focus specifically on new product development and the products helping shape the future of the FMCG market.

For a growing laundry-care brand, reaching a final alongside established household and consumer brands therefore carries particular significance.

What Does It Take to Become a Finalist?

The part of this recognition that matters most to us is the process behind it.

Household and personal-care products entered into The Grocer New Product Awards are assessed through a two-phase consumer testing programme conducted by SAM, The Grocer's judging partner for these categories.

Phase One

30 Consumers Per Product

Multiple Central Location Tests are used, with 30 consumers evaluating each product.

Products are assessed against criteria including:

  • Packaging and functionality
  • Clarity of on-pack information
  • Appearance
  • Aroma and texture where relevant
  • Value for money
  • Targeting effectiveness
  • Overall execution
  • Innovation

Phase Two

Deeper Consumer Evaluation

The strongest performers move into moderated consumer focus groups.

Consumers are guided through their:

  • Functional reactions
  • Sensory responses
  • Emotional reactions
  • Overall product experience

Structured ranking exercises are then used to determine the eventual Gold, Silver and Bronze placements.

Why this matters: finalist status reflects a structured consumer evaluation process. It is not based simply on an entry form, marketing presentation or brand popularity.

Part of a Wider Commitment to Independent Evaluation

The Grocer finalist recognition does not stand alone.

Each assessment looks at the products from a different perspective.

Three Different Forms of Independent Recognition

These programmes should not be treated as interchangeable.

The Grocer New Product Awards assess the overall product proposition through structured consumer testing.

Good Housekeeping Institute Approved provides independent product assessment through the Good Housekeeping Institute.

Dermatest® provides dermatological testing information for the specific Forest Fresh products assessed.

Each provides customers with a different independent reference point.

For us, that is far more meaningful than simply asking customers to accept what we say about our own products.

Why Independent Recognition Matters to Us

Every brand can describe its own products as innovative, effective or high quality.

We believe the more useful question is whether those products are prepared to be assessed beyond the company that created them.

That is why Green Edge 360 continues to invest in independent testing, consumer evaluation and product transparency.

Recognition from The Grocer, Good Housekeeping Institute and Dermatest® does not mean our work is finished. It gives us external feedback, evidence and benchmarks that help us continue improving.
